Within Grafana’s configuration documentation, you can adjust .ini files and environment variables to customize Grafana’s functionality. Grafana’s default is a sqlite3 database, but you can override that using the database settings as outlined here. For example, an external database host would modify the GF_DATABASE_HOST parameter.
